The campsite is situated in a scenic area on the shores of lake Mälaren. About a five-minute walk to Mälarhöjdsbadet open-air swimming area, a sandy beach with diving platform, Only 700 metres to Bredängs station, then 19 minutes by underground to Stockholm city.
During the period May to September you can take a steamboat from Mälarhöjdsbadet quay to Drottningholm Palace or Stockholm City Hall. Stockholm has an incredibly rich array of museums and other attractions, most easily found at www.stockholmtown.com
At Bredängs Camping's reception desk you can buy the Stockholm Card, which provides discounts or free admission to the Underground, buses, museums and attractions. The reception staff will gladly help you with any other information you may need at a visit to Stockholm. Neighbourhood amenities for shopping and entertainment include IKEA, Skärholmens Centrum, Kungens Kurva and Heron City.
The campsite has its own fully licensed restaurant (with access to several computers), a convenience store where you can buy fresh bread in the morning, and free wireless internet.
