The world starts here! The Museum of Ethnography is beautifully situated within walking distance from the centre of Stockholm.

The museum presents exhibitions with objects from all corners of the world: America, Africa, Australia, Asian and Oceania.

It shows unique artifacts as well as everyday objects collected by Swedish explorers from the seventeenth century to the present.

The suggestive exhibitions allow the viewer insights into different conditions of life and cultures around the world – as well as reflection on global issues.

The restaurant MatMekka offers locally produced slow food in a thrilling collision between Swedish tradition and world food.
