Waldemarsudde initially the residence of Prince Eugen (1865-1947) today houses a popular art museum. Prince Eugen was one of the foremost landscape artists of his time and an important art collector of mostly contemporary Swedish art. Throughout the year a selection of works by Prince Eugen is shown together with works from his collections and other temporary exhibitions. The Prince’s reception rooms and the park are always open to the public.
