Gammelbyn - Holiday Village

Gammelbyn is located in Northern Värmland at Lake Rattsjön, close to Hovfjället alpine centre and nature reserve. 22 “Tyrolian style” timber huts, 4-6 beds, equipped with pantry and bathroom. Gammelbyn has a restaurant, conference rooms, sauna, Finnish smoke-sauna at the lakeside and a pub in a rustic timber “barn”. The area with its remote forests and many lakes is perfect for hiking, canoeing, biking and fishing; the necessary equipment is available on the spot. Guided and individual tours are possible. Active families are welcome.


Idre Stugor - Outdoor Activity Centre

Surrounded by nature reserves and national parks the region of Idre is the gate to the Swedish mountains. Our camp is located just outside the village overlooking Lake Idre. The outdoor activity centre is the base camp for active group holidays. 10 cabins equipped with 4-6 beds and bathroom. Hiking, canoeing, biking and fishing are amongst the possible activities in the mountain region which is also one of the most popular destinations for winter holidays in Sweden, including all kinds of winter activities. Guided and individual tours are possible.


Stömne Gården - Conference house and Activity Centre

Our conference house and lodge is located just outside the nature reserve Glaskogen. The rustic house which was originally built as a school around 1900 has been turned into a cozy group lodge. 14 rooms with en-suite bathroom, usable as double rooms, 3- and 4-bed rooms (in total 39 beds). Use the landscape of wooded hills and clear lakes for all kinds of outdoor activities, guided or individual. Equipment can be rented on the spot.


Canoe Camps

Arvika Kanot&Turistcenter: Individual wilderness canoe tours in the densely wooded Western and Northern Värmland. The centre provides all necessary equipment and full service for selfguided canoe and camping trips. Hökenäs: Our base camp in the heart of the Dalsland - Nordmarken region – Sweden’s no. 1 canoe destination - is an ideal starting point for canoe tours on the many lakes. Here we focus on guided trips for active families and outdoor enthusiasts. Bergslagsgården: Our starting point at the Svartälven for tours on rivers and lakes which can also be used as a base camp for other activities. Canoe trips for larger groups, youth groups and scouts, guided or individual tours.
