Imagine standing on the quay one morning watching the boat getting closer and closer. You climb aboard and are soon heading towards the islands in Haninge's archipelago with a warm breeze in your hair, sun in your face and fresh air in your lungs. You are planning to spend the day discovering some of Haninge's islands. Paddle kayak on Nåttarö perhaps, or hire a rowing boat on Rånö.
Visit Älvsnabben on Muskö or travel to Utö to take a look at the Mining Museum. You might even have time to get to Ornö for some cycling from where it is not far to Strindberg's Kymmendö.
You could well be the expectant pupil on their way to school camp on Fjärdlång or Huvudskär. Wonderful discoveries await you. You could be a family on its way to a Christmas market in the archipelago, when the winds are icy and the snow lies like a white blanket over the islands. After a while you notice that it is mainly archipelago dwellers onboard. They are on their way home while you are heading for an exciting day or two in Haninge's stunning archipelago. The points of departure for coming out into the archipelago are Dalarö and Årsta piers. SL's buses take you there.
